FREE TRANSFER FROM THE AIRPORT

Emerging into the waiting mass of taxi drivers at Odessa Airport’s Arrival’s Hall can be a somewhat intimidating experience. Without wishing to emphasize the point it is not unfair to say that a foreigner is likely to be charged rather more for the twenty-minute drive into town, than a Ukrainian National. Accordingly, as part of our service, ODESSA RENT A FLAT provides an English Speaking Driver to meet its clients. After meeting, the client is taken directly to their Odessa apartment. (Note: This free service is provided between the hours of 08.00 and 20.00 Mon-Sat for stays of 5 days or more and also applies to both Bus and Train Stations. Transfers outside of these hours and rental periods are available for a fee of $30).

FRIENDS/LOVED ONE COLLECTION

ODESSA RENT A FLAT can collect your friends or loved one en-route to the airport so that they can be present to meet you when you arrive. Simply refer to this in your reservation giving relevant contact details. Fee for this service is $20 and is available for both arrival and departure.

VIP TRANSFER

For those wishing to arrive in style, ODESSA RENT A FLAT can provide an Executive Mercedes or similar for transfer to and from the apartment. Fee for this service is $50 each way. In order to minimize the inconvenience on arrival you may also avail of Odessa Airport’s own VIP package. This includes being privately escorted from the aircraft and guided through Passport and Customs formalities to the Arrivals Hall. You may request this service when you make your reservation and we will make the necessary arrangements for you. Cost of the service is $20 plus the airport’s fee of $80 and should be paid in advance.

MOBILE PHONE RENTAL

Using your Western cell phone in Ukraine can be very expensive as Roaming Charges are very high. (Remember you pay for incoming calls also). ODESSA RENT A FLAT offers 2 options:

OPTION 1. You may rent a new Siemens Mobile for $4 per day. Special discount rates are available for rental periods of 7 days and upwards. Credit Scratch Cards from $5 upwards can be purchased from the many street vendors. (They can add the credit for you). If you request this option in advance we can e-mail you the number of your reserved cell phone prior to arrival.
Deposit for the phone is $100 which will be refunded at the end of the rental period.

OPTION 2. With this option we can supply you with a Sim Card Package including local telephone number plus 10 Hrivnas of credit. You may request this in advance and receive your telephone number prior to arrival. (If you chose this option please ensure that your phone facilitates a change of Sim Card). Fee payable is $25 which includes the card.

LAPTOP RENTAL

New Notebook Computers with Software in English are available to rent for $15 per day or $95 per week. This service should be requested in advance. A $500 refundable deposit is payable.

ADVANCE SHOPPING REQUEST (ASR)

It is understandable that after a long flight you may not to want to go to the local supermarket shopping for basics. As part of ODESSA RENT A FLAT client commitment, we offer our Advance Shopping Request service (ASR), whereby a varied selection of groceries will be pre-purchased and deposited for you in your Odessa apartment prior to your arrival. We suggest a Basic Basket (B) and/or a Luxury Basket (L). Additional items may be specified. Cost of this service, which should be paid for in advance, is $20 + cost of the goods i.e. pre-payment is $60 and $100 resp. (Odessa Cognac is actually very good. So much so that it can be difficult to distinguish it from some of the more established Western brands. At about $10 for the 5* variety it’s great value. Also good value and recommended are the Red and Black varieties of Caviar).

PERSONAL DRIVER

ODESSA RENT A FLAT can provide you with a modern 4-door saloon car and English Speaking Driver during your stay. Rates are $20 per hour, for journeys within a 15k radius of Odessa or $120 per day (8 hrs). Journeys outside of Odessa by request. All cars are fully insured.

TRANSLATORS / INTERPRETERS

Interpreters/Translators are available for oral and written translations. Rates for English/Russian/Ukrainian are as follows: Periods of up to two hours are charged at a rate of $12 per hour. For 2-6 hours the rate is $10 per hour. For periods in excess of 6 hours the rate is $8 per hour. We can also provide interpreters for German, French, Italian and Spanish. Rates are available on request.

APARTMENT CLEANING / LAUNDRY+ DRY CLEANING

Your Odessa apartmentis cleaned, bed linen and towels changed every 5 days. Additional cleaning is available for $15 per day including change of towels and bed linen.

Laundry Service is available for $10 + cost of laundering. Approx cost is $10 per kilo. Clothes are collected and returned to your apartment, washed and ironed, within 48hrs.

Dry Cleaning Service is available for $10 + cost of items. Typical prices are, Shirt $5, Jacket $7, Trousers $6. Clothes are collected and returned to your apartment within 48 hrs.
